Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior payroll administrators with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll.
  • Accurately input and update employee data, including new hires, terminations, changes in salary, and benefits.
  • Maintain meticulous employee payroll records, ensuring all documentation is current and compliant.
  • Support the calculation of wages, deductions, and statutory contributions (e.g., social security, taxes).
  • Help reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Respond to basic employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and timekeeping.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end payroll closing procedures and reporting.
  • Learn and adhere to German labor law, tax regulations, and social security guidelines relevant to payroll.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
