Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing amenities, to Maseteng Guest House's standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in all common areas such as reception, hallways, dining areas, and restrooms.
- Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and towels.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and special cleaning tasks as needed.
- Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and guest amenities, reporting needs to management.
- Ensure guests' privacy and security by following established procedures for entering rooms and handling personal belongings.
- Provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for guests while carrying out duties.
- Work efficiently and effectively to complete assigned tasks within specified timeframes.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
