Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, and sanitizing designated areas.
- Ensure all assigned areas are clean, tidy, and organized according to company standards and health regulations.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas, replenishing supplies as needed.
- Empty waste bins, transport waste and recycling to designated disposal areas.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting needs to management.
- Report any damages, hazards, or maintenance issues observed during cleaning to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with staff and clients.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper or in a similar cleaning role
- Ability to handle cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of various cleaning methods and products
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
- Reliability and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with COSHH regulations (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)
