Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation, ensuring they are calibrated and in optimal working condition.
- Execute experiments and tests strictly following established protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Accurately record, manage, and analyze experimental data, maintaining detailed laboratory notebooks and digital records.
- Prepare chemical reagents, solutions, and media with precision and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Perform routine laboratory maintenance, including cleaning glassware, sterilizing equipment, and managing waste disposal.
- Monitor inventory of lab supplies and chemicals, assisting with ordering and stock management to ensure continuous operation.
- Collaborate effectively with senior scientists and other team members, providing support for ongoing research projects.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety regulations, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and quality control standards.
- Assist in the preparation of samples for analysis and conduct basic analytical tests as required.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report more complex problems to senior staff promptly.
