As a Technician Apprentice, you will embark on a structured learning journey, working alongside our experienced technicians and engineers. Your role will involve practical, on-the-job training in various aspects of energy infrastructure, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical components, grid systems, and associated equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Shadow and assist experienced technicians during routine maintenance, installations, and repairs of electrical and energy equipment.
- Learn to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve basic technical issues under supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations strictly, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and functional condition.
- Accurately record work performed, parts used, and time spent on tasks.
- Actively participate in training sessions, workshops, and educational programs provided by REG.
- Develop a foundational understanding of electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and potential challenges.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the technical department.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Strong desire to learn and develop technical skills.
- Basic understanding of electrical or mechanical concepts (even from hobbies or school projects).
