Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks, including washing, chopping, and peeling ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dining areas, and storerooms, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, ovens, and mixers safely and efficiently.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, cutlery, glassware, and cooking utensils.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for meals and special events, including table setting and decor.
- Support service staff during meal times by delivering food, refilling drinks, and clearing tables.
- Receive and store inventory, ensuring proper rotation and minimizing waste.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.
