Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Operate washing, drying, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently, following all operational guidelines.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron all lodge linen, towels, guest laundry (if applicable), and staff uniforms to impeccable standards.
- Handle delicate garments and items requiring special care or specific cleaning instructions with utmost precision and attention.
- Thoroughly inspect all processed items for stains, damage, or wear, promptly reporting any issues to the laundry supervisor.
- Maintain a consistently clean, organized, and safe laundry area, strictly adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Manage and monitor laundry supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained and assisting with reordering when necessary.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts of linen, towels, and other laundry-related items.
- Support other housekeeping duties as required, contributing to the overall cleanliness and presentation of the lodge.
- Adhere strictly to hygiene and quality control standards to ensure all items meet Maliba Lodge's luxury benchmarks.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members, housekeeping staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
