Key Responsibilities
- Safely and punctually transport Career.zycto staff to and from designated locations within Aba and surrounding areas.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the company vehicle, both interior and exterior.
- Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance needs or defects promptly.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes, considering traffic conditions and passenger schedules.
- Manage fuel consumption efficiently and maintain accurate records of mileage and fuel expenditure.
- Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and provide courteous service to all staff members.
- Keep accurate logbooks of journeys, mileage, and passenger counts as required.
- Respond calmly and effectively to unforeseen circumstances, such as vehicle breakdowns or road incidents.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class E or equivalent)
- Clean driving record with no history of serious traffic violations.
- Proven experience in professional driving, preferably shuttle or corporate transport.
- Excellent knowledge of Aba road networks and traffic patterns, especially Ogbor Hill.
- Strong understanding of vehicle safety and basic maintenance procedures.
- Exceptional time management and punctuality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of responsibility and reliability.
