As a Staff Shuttle Driver, you are often the first and last point of contact for many of our team members each day, making your contribution essential to their daily experience and overall productivity. You will be operating company-provided vehicles, maintaining their cleanliness, and adhering strictly to all traffic regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and punctually transport Career.zycto staff to and from designated locations within Aba and surrounding areas.
  • Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the company vehicle, both interior and exterior.
  • Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance needs or defects promptly.
  • Plan and follow the most efficient routes, considering traffic conditions and passenger schedules.
  • Manage fuel consumption efficiently and maintain accurate records of mileage and fuel expenditure.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and provide courteous service to all staff members.
  • Keep accurate logbooks of journeys, mileage, and passenger counts as required.
  • Respond calmly and effectively to unforeseen circumstances, such as vehicle breakdowns or road incidents.

Required Skills

  • Valid Nigerian Driver's License (Class E or equivalent)
  • Clean driving record with no history of serious traffic violations.
  • Proven experience in professional driving, preferably shuttle or corporate transport.
  • Excellent knowledge of Aba road networks and traffic patterns, especially Ogbor Hill.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle safety and basic maintenance procedures.
  • Exceptional time management and punctuality.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of responsibility and reliability.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or occasional weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SSCE or OND qualification.
  • Defensive driving certification.
  • Experience with GPS navigation systems.
