Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound and outbound customer communications via chat, email, and phone, ensuring prompt and effective responses.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot customer issues, guiding them through solutions or escalating to appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Document all customer interactions meticulously in our CRM system, maintaining a comprehensive record of inquiries and resolutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, technical support, and product teams to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Identify trends in customer feedback and suggest improvements to processes, products, and services.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures, including data privacy and security protocols.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, consistently delivering service that reflects our company's values and commitment to excellence.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on product knowledge and customer service best practices.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a clear and professional tone.
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in a customer service or support role, preferably in a remote capacity.
  • Strong active listening, empathy, and de-escalation skills to handle diverse customer situations effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk) and other customer service tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in an additional Nigerian language (e.g., Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa) or French.
  • Experience working with cloud-based communication platforms.
