Career.zycto is seeking an inspiring and results-oriented Director of Learning & Development to lead our talent enhancement strategies in Chinhoyi, Mashonaland West Province. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with Career.zycto's overall business goals and talent objectives.
- Design, implement, and evaluate innovative learning programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, onboarding, and professional development initiatives.
- Lead needs assessments to identify skill gaps and future talent requirements, translating these insights into actionable L&D programs.
- Manage the L&D budget, resources, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and high-quality program delivery.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and ROI of all learning initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development throughout the organization.
- Coach and mentor internal trainers and L&D specialists, enhancing their capabilities and ensuring consistency in delivery.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in learning and development to continuously improve our offerings.
- Collaborate with HR and senior leadership to integrate L&D programs with broader talent management, succession planning, and performance management strategies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering impactful learning and development programs.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning technologies (LMS, e-learning platforms).
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinking with a demonstrated ability to align L&D initiatives with business objectives.
