Career.zycto is seeking a highly organised and passionate A&R Administrator to join our dynamic team in Burpham, Guildford. As an A&R Administrator, you will be the backbone of our talent acquisition efforts, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities, managing critical information, and facilitating seamless communication across various stakeholders.

Your work will directly contribute to the success of our artists and the efficiency of our A&R executives. You’ll manage complex schedules, meticulously track demo submissions, and maintain comprehensive artist databases. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain A&R executives' calendars, scheduling meetings, studio sessions, and travel arrangements.
  • Efficiently process and track all incoming demo submissions, ensuring timely feedback and proper documentation.
  • Organise and maintain artist databases, contact lists, and project files with utmost accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and expense summaries for the A&R department.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for artists, managers, and external partners, handling inquiries with professionalism.
  • Coordinate logistics for A&R scouting trips, showcases, and industry events.
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of artist agreements, clearances, and publishing documentation.
  • Conduct research on emerging artists, market trends, and competitive landscapes to support A&R initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in an administrative support role, preferably within the music or entertainment industry.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A deep passion for music across various genres and a genuine interest in artist development.
  • Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Music Business, Arts Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working within a record label, music publishing company, or talent agency.
  • Familiarity with music industry-specific software or database management systems.
  • Understanding of copyright, licensing, and other music industry legal frameworks.
