Job Description

As a Remote UI Design Consultant, you will leverage your deep expertise in visual design principles, interaction design, and modern UI patterns to create high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and scalable design systems. Key Responsibilities
- Lead UI design efforts for complex digital products and platforms, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and user needs.
- Translate user research findings, business requirements, and technical constraints into intuitive and visually appealing UI designs.
- Create detailed wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and comprehensive design specifications.
- Develop and maintain robust design systems and style guides to ensure consistency and scalability across projects.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Conduct design reviews and present design solutions to internal teams and clients, effectively communicating design rationale and impact.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices within project teams and client engagements.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the growth of EPAM's design community.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and UI/UX best practices to continuously enhance design solutions.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in UI Design, Product Design, or a related field.
- Proven portfolio showcasing strong visual design skills, interaction design expertise, and successful project outcomes.
- Proficiency with leading design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision).
- Expertise in creating and implementing design systems and style guides.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
