Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on office equipment, building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical), and infrastructure.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests, troubleshooting and repairing minor issues such as faulty lights, leaky faucets, and broken furniture.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the facility to identify and address potential maintenance needs or hazards.
  • Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of office fixtures, furniture, and equipment.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of common areas, storage rooms, and utility spaces.
  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, informing management of reorder needs.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or services when necessary.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  • Support facility-related projects and renovations as directed by the Facility Manager.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in facility maintenance or a similar hands-on role.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
  • Proficiency in using various hand and power tools safely.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant technical certification (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
  • Experience with preventative maintenance software or systems.
  • First Aid and Safety certification.
  • Valid driver's license.
