Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging, high-quality training sessions and workshops on various IT topics, including programming (Python, Java), networking (CCNA fundamentals), database management (SQL), web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and office applications.
- Design, update, and review course curricula and training materials to ensure relevance, accuracy, and alignment with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Assess student progress through assignments, projects, quizzes, and examinations, providing constructive feedback and support for continuous improvement.
- Provide one-on-one and group mentorship to students, guiding them through technical challenges, career advice, and professional development.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously enhance course content and delivery.
- Manage classroom logistics, including equipment setup, software installation, and troubleshooting technical issues during training sessions.
- Collaborate with the academic team to identify areas for program improvement and contribute to the overall student learning experience.
- Participate in marketing and recruitment activities, representing Career.zycto at events and open days as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an IT Trainer or similar educational role in a computer school or vocational institute.
- Strong proficiency in at least three of the following areas: Python, Java, C#, SQL, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Networking (TCP/IP, Routing & Switching), Operating Systems (Windows, Linux).
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated ability to develop engaging course content and training materials.
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to foster an interactive and supportive learning environment.
- Problem-solving aptitude and ability to troubleshoot common IT issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education with a focus on IT, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified, Cisco CCNA, Oracle Certified Associate).
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) like Moodle, Canvas, or Blackboard.
- Prior experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and tools.
