Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated Professional Driver to join our network of top-tier talent in Muhanga. In this role, you will be responsible for providing safe, timely, and efficient transportation services for individuals or corporate clients, ensuring a comfortable and professional experience. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and punctually transport clients to their designated locations, adhering to schedules and routes.
- Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the assigned vehicle, performing regular pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Ensure compliance with all local traffic laws and regulations, practicing defensive driving techniques.
- Assist clients with loading and unloading luggage or other items as required, providing courteous service.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance, and any incidents.
- Communicate effectively with clients and management regarding schedules, delays, or vehicle issues.
- Handle unexpected situations (e.g., flat tire, minor mechanical issues) calmly and efficiently.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Rwandan driving license (Category B or higher)
- Clean driving record for the past 5 years
- Proven experience in professional driving (personal or corporate)
- Excellent knowledge of Muhanga and surrounding areas, including optimal routes and traffic patterns
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Impeccable time management and organizational abilities
- High level of responsibility and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a defensive driving course or equivalent certification
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with GPS navigation systems and mobile applications
- Ability to communicate in Kinyarwanda and English
- First Aid and CPR certification
