Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage customers warmly, offering personalized styling advice and product recommendations.
  • Actively drive sales by understanding customer needs, showcasing merchandise features, and cross-selling/up-selling.
  • Maintain an immaculately organized and visually appealing sales floor, including merchandising displays and stock replenishment.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash, credit, and gift card payments.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving new shipments, tagging items, and conducting stock counts.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, fostering loyalty through exceptional service and follow-up.
  • Stay informed about current fashion trends, product knowledge, and competitive landscape to effectively advise customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and provide a seamless shopping experience.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in fashion retail or boutique sales.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong understanding of current fashion trends and styling techniques.
  • Proficiency in using POS (Point of Sale) systems and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment, including weekends and holidays.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer service orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience with visual merchandising and store display setup.
  • Existing network of fashion-interested clients or customers.
  • Fluency in additional local languages (e.g., Yoruba) is a plus.
