Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor the efficient flow of goods from warehouse receipt to final customer delivery.
- Manage inventory levels, including stock allocation, rotation, and reconciliation to minimize discrepancies and optimize storage space.
- Plan and schedule daily delivery routes, considering factors such as cost-efficiency, urgency, and vehicle capacity.
- Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including shipping documents, invoices, and delivery confirmations.
- Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure goods are handled and delivered according to company standards.
- Resolve any issues that arise during the logistics process, such as delays, damages, or misroutes, promptly and effectively.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics efficiency, cost, and service levels.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within warehouse and delivery operations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain coordination.
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and transportation management software.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
