Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join our dedicated team in North Shore, Kamloops. You will be instrumental in supporting our employees and management across various HR disciplines, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and policy implementation. As our HR Generalist, you will be the go-to person for HR-related queries, providing guidance and support to employees and managers alike. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting and candidate sourcing to interviewing and offer management, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive new hire onboarding programs to integrate employees smoothly into the company culture and prepare them for success.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR policies, procedures, and best practices, promoting fair and consistent application.
- Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures, maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
- Administer benefits programs, compensation structures, and HRIS data, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems, including reviews, goal setting, and professional development plans.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and local employment laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes.
- Support HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, retention, and overall organizational effectiveness.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of progressive experience in a Human Resources Generalist role.
- Thorough understanding of Canadian employment law and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- CHRP/CPHR designation or working towards certification.
- Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Familiarity with HR technology implementation and optimization.
