As an integral part of our event production team, you will be responsible for the meticulous setup and efficient takedown of all event infrastructure. This involves the careful loading, unloading, and precise placement of everything from staging, sound and lighting equipment, tables, chairs, and decorative elements to temporary structures and signage. Your ability to follow detailed floor plans, work collaboratively under pressure, and ensure every component is perfectly aligned with specifications is paramount. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading, unloading, and transportation of event equipment, staging, furniture, and decorative elements.
- Execute event setup according to detailed floor plans and specifications, ensuring accuracy and aesthetic appeal.
- Safely assemble and dismantle various event components, including tents, tables, chairs, AV equipment, and temporary structures.
- Work collaboratively with event managers and other crew members to meet strict deadlines and adapt to changes.
- Perform general site clean-up before, during, and after events to maintain a tidy, professional, and safe environment.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues with equipment and promptly report larger problems to senior staff.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and operational guidelines and procedures for event sites.
- Maintain a professional and positive demeanor when interacting with clients, vendors, and fellow crew members.
- Be proactive in identifying potential logistical issues and proposing solutions to ensure seamless event operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and safely.
- Strong physical stamina and endurance for standing, walking, and manual labor for extended periods.
