Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory management.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize transportation costs.
- Manage carrier relationships, negotiate rates, and ensure timely and cost-effective transport solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, as well as inventory levels using relevant software.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies, identifying root causes for corrective action.
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, and customer service teams to fulfill orders and address logistical challenges.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse and delivery operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role, specifically in warehouse and delivery management.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in logistics software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with diverse stakeholders.
