Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage customers warmly, building rapport and understanding their style preferences and needs.
  • Provide expert styling advice, product knowledge, and fashion recommendations to enhance the customer's shopping experience.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the boutique.
  • Maintain an immaculate and aesthetically pleasing store environment, including merchandising, visual displays, and inventory organization.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash, card, and other payment methods.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving, tagging, and stocking merchandise.
  • Stay updated on current fashion trends, product features, and competitive landscape to effectively communicate value to customers.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Participate in store events, promotions, and visual merchandising changes as required.
  • Build and maintain a client book, fostering long-term relationships through personalized follow-ups and notifications of new arrivals.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within a fashion or luxury retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and engaging demeanor.
  • Strong understanding of current fashion trends, styling techniques, and product knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in using Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as per retail operational needs.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining a premium store aesthetic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Degree or HND in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in a high-end fashion boutique or with designer brands.
  • Multilingual abilities (e.g., ability to converse in Yoruba, Igbo, or Hausa) to cater to a diverse clientele.
  • A strong personal sense of style and ability to visually communicate fashion concepts.
