Career.zycto is seeking an inspiring and visionary Director of Learning & Development to lead our global talent development initiatives from our Victoria Falls office. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global Learning & Development strategy aligned with Career.zycto's strategic goals and talent needs.
  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative learning programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, and soft skills enhancement.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement across various departments and levels.
  • Evaluate and implement modern learning technologies and platforms (LMS, LXP, virtual reality, etc.) to enhance program effectiveness and accessibility.
  • Establish robust metrics and evaluation frameworks to measure the ROI and impact of L&D initiatives, reporting on progress and making data-driven adjustments.
  • Coach and mentor internal trainers and subject matter experts to improve their facilitation and instructional design capabilities.
  • Manage the L&D budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effective program delivery.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in learning and organizational development.
  • Collaborate closely with HR business partners, department heads, and senior leadership to ensure L&D programs support business objectives.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and knowledge sharing throughout the organization.

Required Skills

  • Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and evaluating large-scale L&D programs.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design, and blended learning approaches.
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other e-learning technologies.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business needs into effective learning solutions.
  • Budget management and vendor negotiation experience.
  • Strong analytical skills to measure program effectiveness and impact.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
