Key Responsibilities

  • Actively scout, identify, and evaluate emerging musical talent across various genres.
  • Attend live performances, showcases, and music industry events in Bear Creek, Kenai, and surrounding regions.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with artists, managers, producers, and other industry professionals.
  • Review and assess demo submissions, online portfolios, and social media presence of potential artists.
  • Prepare comprehensive talent reports, including market analysis, competitive landscape, and commercial viability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, legal, production) to facilitate artist development and signing processes.
  • Stay informed about current music trends, technological advancements, and shifts in consumer preferences.
  • Negotiate and finalize artist deals, ensuring alignment with company objectives and artist aspirations.
  • Provide creative feedback and guidance to artists during their development phase.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional ear for music and proven ability to identify commercially viable talent.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills within the music industry.
