Job Description
We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Panel Beater to join our dynamic team at Kibo Auto Spares & Garage. This is a workshop-based role in Arusha, Arusha Region, requiring an individual with a passion for auto body repair and an unwavering commitment to precision and quality. As a Panel Beater, you will be instrumental in restoring damaged vehicles to their original structural and cosmetic condition, ensuring both safety and aesthetic excellence for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will cover a wide range of tasks, from minor dent removal to major structural repairs involving chassis straightening, welding, and panel replacement.
This role demands an individual who possesses not only exceptional technical skills but also a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of modern vehicle construction and repair techniques. You will work closely with other technicians, including painters and mechanics, to ensure a seamless repair process. Adherence to industry best practices, safety regulations, and company standards is paramount. Key Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage accurately and determine the appropriate repair methods.
- Repair or replace damaged body panels, fenders, doors, hoods, and other vehicle components.
- Perform chassis and frame straightening using specialized equipment.
- Execute welding, cutting, grinding, and sanding operations with precision.
- Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including filling, sanding, and masking.
- Utilize various panel beating tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all repairs meet company and industry standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
- Collaborate effectively with painters, mechanics, and other team members.
- Document repair processes, materials used, and time spent on each job.
- Continuously update knowledge on new vehicle models, repair techniques, and safety standards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in body repair techniques including dent pulling, panel replacement, and structural alignment.
- Competency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Spot Welding).
- Strong understanding of automotive body construction and materials.
- Ability to operate a range of hand and power tools safely and skillfully.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for accurate bodywork.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform demanding tasks.
- Problem-solving abilities to address complex damage effectively.

Preferred Qualifications
