As a Data Analyst, you will be deeply involved in the entire data lifecycle, from data extraction and transformation to analysis and presentation. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders from sales, marketing, operations, and finance to understand their unique data needs and translate them into effective analytical solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor business performance.
- Extract, clean, and transform large and complex datasets from various sources (e.g., SQL databases, APIs, spreadsheets) to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and root causes, providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Develop and implement forecasting models to predict future trends in sales, market demand, operational efficiency, and other critical business areas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data and reporting solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations to management and team members through clear, concise, and compelling visual and written reports.
- Support ad-hoc data requests and deep-dive analysis projects as needed to address specific business questions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data analysis processes, tools, and methodologies within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and best practices for data security and privacy.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Expertise in at least one major Business Intelligence (BI) tool (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Qlik Sense) for dashboard and report creation.
- Demonstrated ability to perform statistical analysis and develop forecasting models.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with data cleaning, transformation, and validation techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis and scripting.
