Job Description

Career.zycto is actively seeking a visionary and results-driven Learning & Development Manager to join our vibrant team in Chandler, Arizona. This role is crucial for fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within our organization. As our Learning & Development Manager, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of L&D initiatives, from conducting needs assessments and designing compelling learning programs to their implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with department heads and senior leadership to identify skill gaps, develop strategic learning roadmaps, and ensure our training solutions are aligned with our overarching business objectives. This is a hands-on role where your expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and learning technologies will be paramount.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive learning needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities across the organization.
  • Design, develop, and implement engaging and effective learning programs, workshops, and resources for various employee levels and functions.
  • Manage the full instructional design lifecycle, from content creation to delivery methods (e.g., e-learning, blended learning, in-person).
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs using various metrics, providing regular reports on ROI and making data-driven improvements.
  • Oversee the administration and optimization of our Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning technologies.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and leadership to ensure learning content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with business goals.
  • Manage external training vendors and consultants, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service delivery.
  • Develop and manage the L&D budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning and professional development within Career.zycto.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends in learning technology, and adult learning theories.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in instructional design and curriculum development.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and report on training effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team development skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Certifications in L&D (e.g., CPLP, ATD certifications).
  • Experience with gamification or other innovative learning techniques.
  • Knowledge of current trends in virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) for training.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced technology or consulting environment.
