Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular foot and/or vehicle patrols of designated premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, secure doors, windows, and gates.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings, equipment, and access points; permit entry to authorized persons.
- Respond to alarms, investigate disturbances, and report suspicious activities or incidents to relevant authorities and supervisors.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of staff, visitors, and property.
- Detain persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts and turn them over to the appropriate authorities.
- Write detailed reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Perform first aid or CPR when necessary during emergencies.
- Collaborate with emergency services and law enforcement during critical situations.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure a sense of security.
Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Relevant security certifications or training (e.g., PSIRA equivalent in Lesotho)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
