Job Description

Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Legal Assistant to join a prestigious legal team based in the heart of Kensington, London. This pivotal role is designed for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and possesses a strong command of legal documentation, case management, and administrative support. You will be instrumental in supporting solicitors and paralegals across various practice areas, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of legal proceedings.

In this role, you will be deeply involved in the lifecycle of legal cases, from initial client intake through to resolution. Your responsibilities will span comprehensive legal drafting, meticulously preparing and reviewing a wide array of legal documents including correspondence, pleadings, motions, and agreements. Precision and an acute attention to detail are paramount to ensure all documents comply with legal standards and firm protocols. Beyond drafting, you will manage extensive digital and physical filing systems, ensuring all case materials are organised, accessible, and up-to-date. This includes electronic filing with courts and regulatory bodies, demanding a solid understanding of court procedures and deadlines.

Furthermore, this position requires robust case support, which involves coordinating schedules, managing diaries, arranging meetings, and facilitating client communications. You will be a crucial point of contact for clients, barristers, and external stakeholders, requiring exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Proactive management of deadlines, undertaking preliminary legal research, and preparing bundles for court hearings are also key components of this dynamic role. We are looking for an individual who is not only proficient in legal administration but also eager to contribute significantly to the success of complex legal matters within a supportive and collaborative setting. If you are passionate about the legal field and ready to elevate your career in a prominent London firm, we encourage you to apply.
