Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for artist releases, including digital, social media, PR, radio, and retail strategies.
  • Manage and maintain artist social media presence, ensuring consistent brand voice and engaging content.
  • Coordinate with artists, managers, and external partners (publicists, radio promoters) to ensure seamless campaign rollout.
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance using various analytics tools, providing actionable insights.
  • Help manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the music industry.
  • Create compelling marketing assets, including press releases, pitch decks, social media graphics, and email newsletters.
  • Support the planning and execution of promotional events, listening parties, and artist appearances.
  • Maintain strong relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry contacts.
  • Stay updated on digital marketing trends, platform updates, and best practices relevant to the music industry.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in music marketing, entertainment, or a related field.
  • Proven understanding of digital marketing principles and social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Spotify for Artists, social media insights).
  • Demonstrated passion for music and a keen awareness of current music trends and artists.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Music Business, Communications, or a related field.
