Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain a comprehensive and organized system for audit workpapers, client files, and other critical documentation, both physical and electronic.
- Ensure all audit documentation complies with firm policies, professional standards (e.g., CAS, PCAOB), and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate the timely collection of client information and supporting documents from various sources.
- Assist audit teams in retrieving and archiving documentation efficiently, responding to requests promptly.
- Perform quality control checks on documentation to identify and rectify discrepancies, missing information, or formatting issues.
- Facilitate the secure sharing of sensitive information with authorized personnel, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
- Support the preparation for internal and external quality reviews by organizing and presenting required documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in documentation management and contribute to the implementation of best practices.
- Provide administrative support to audit partners and managers as needed, relating to documentation matters.
- Stay updated on relevant changes in audit standards, firm policies, and technology related to documentation management.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative, documentation control, or audit support role, preferably within an accounting firm or financial services environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience with document management systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and clients.
