Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and organise large datasets from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Conduct preliminary data analysis using statistical software and present findings in an understandable format.
  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and automated reports to track key performance indicators and research outcomes.
  • Assist in the preparation of research proposals, literature reviews, and methodology outlines.
  • Contribute to the drafting of comprehensive research reports, presentations, and publications for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on data and reports to guarantee reliability and validity.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand reporting requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.
  • Maintain organised documentation of data sources, methodologies, and reporting processes, adhering to best practices.
  • Support ad-hoc data requests and analytical projects as required by the research and consulting teams.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas).
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or strong willingness to learn quickly.
  • Basic understanding of statistical methods and research methodologies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for report generation and stakeholder interaction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with data cleaning and validation processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience (academic or professional) of at least one year in a research or data analysis role.
