PCL Constructors Canada Inc. is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Project Management Aide to join our team in Streetsville, Mississauga. As a Project Management Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth administrative and organizational flow of our projects. You will be instrumental in supporting Project Managers and Project Coordinators by managing documentation, facilitating communication, organizing schedules, and assisting with data entry and reporting. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to Project Managers and Project Coordinators, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and drafting correspondence.
  • Assist with the creation, organization, and maintenance of project documentation, files, and records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Facilitate internal and external communication, distributing project updates, memos, and information to relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform data entry and maintain various project logs, databases, and tracking systems (e.g., RFI, Submittal, Change Order logs).
  • Support the preparation of project reports, presentations, and progress updates by compiling information and formatting documents.
  • Coordinate meeting logistics, including room bookings, technology setup, and minute-taking for project meetings.
  • Assist with monitoring project schedules and tracking key deliverables, flagging potential delays or issues to the project team.
  • Learn and utilize project management software and tools to enhance efficiency and collaboration.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Basic understanding of administrative procedures and office etiquette

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a post-secondary program in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Previous administrative or support experience in a professional office setting
  • Familiarity with construction industry terminology or processes
  • Exposure to project management software (e.g., Primavera, Aconex, Procore, Jira, Asana)
