Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize legal documents, files, and correspondence with exceptional accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, motions, pleadings, and general correspondence.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates, and maintain attorneys' calendars.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, judges' chambers, and external counsel, handling inquiries professionally.
  • Process and track incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and electronic communications.
  • Maintain an organized filing system, both physical and electronic.
  • Assist with legal research, case preparation, and data entry as required.
  • Handle office administrative tasks, including ordering supplies and managing petty cash.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and firm-specific administrative procedures.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative legal role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure.
  • Discretion and strict adherence to confidentiality protocols.
