Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Immigration Documentation Specialist to join our dynamic team in Stonebridge, Saskatoon. This pivotal role involves meticulously preparing, reviewing, and managing all required documentation for various immigration applications, ensuring strict adherence to Canadian immigration laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and compile a wide array of immigration application forms and supporting documents for various categories (e.g., Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs, Work Permits, Study Permits, Family Sponsorship).
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with current IRCC policies, regulations, and procedural guidelines.
- Conduct thorough research on immigration policies and updates to provide up-to-date information and guidance.
- Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and documents, providing clear instructions and managing expectations.
- Organize and maintain client files, both physical and electronic, ensuring strict confidentiality and data security.
- Assist in drafting legal submissions, cover letters, and other correspondence related to immigration applications.
- Track application statuses, manage deadlines, and communicate progress to clients and relevant team members.
- Identify and resolve potential issues or discrepancies in documentation promptly and effectively.
- Support immigration consultants and lawyers with administrative tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an immigration-related role (e.g., documentation specialist, assistant, paralegal).
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian immigration programs, policies, and application processes.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- High degree of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive client information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Paralegal Studies, Immigration Law, or a related field.
- Experience with immigration case management software (e.g., PC Law, Unity, INSZoom).
- Fluency in additional languages (e.g., French, Hindi, Punjabi, Mandarin) relevant to client demographics.
- Certification as an Immigration Consultant (RCIC) or Paralegal (P1 license) is an asset but not required for this documentation-focused role.
