Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking an inspiring and results-oriented Director of Learning & Development to lead our talent enhancement initiatives. This pivotal role is perfect for a visionary leader passionate about cultivating a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within our organization. As the Director of Learning & Development, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive strategies that align with our business objectives and foster a highly skilled, motivated, and engaged workforce. You will be responsible for identifying critical skill gaps, developing innovative training programs, and evaluating their effectiveness to ensure measurable impact on individual performance and organizational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Learning & Development strategy aligned with Career.zycto’s strategic goals and talent needs.
  • Design, implement, and manage a wide range of learning programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, onboarding, and continuous professional development.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities across all levels of the organization.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of all L&D programs using robust metrics and analytics, reporting on ROI and impact to key stakeholders.
  • Manage the L&D budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing value from training investments.
  • Research and integrate innovative learning technologies and methodologies to enhance the learning experience and reach.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners, department heads, and senior leadership to ensure L&D initiatives are integrated and supported.
  • Mentor and develop L&D team members (if applicable), fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the function.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning, growth, and knowledge sharing throughout the organization.
  • Ensure all training content and delivery methods comply with relevant industry standards and internal policies.

Required Skills

  • Proven track record in designing, implementing, and evaluating successful L&D programs in a leadership capacity.
  • Deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and blended learning methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to measure program effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other e-learning platforms.
  • Strategic thinking with a proactive approach to identifying future talent needs.
  • Budget management expertise.
  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Certification in instructional design, coaching, or talent management.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced or rapidly growing organization.
  • Familiarity with talent management software and HRIS integration.
  • Prior experience managing a small L&D team.
