Key Responsibilities
- Perform general field work including preparing soil, planting, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting various crops.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment such as tractors, plows, seeders, and harvesters.
- Assist with the daily care and feeding of livestock, including cleaning pens, stables, and other animal housing.
- Monitor animal health, identify signs of distress or illness, and report any concerns promptly to the farm manager.
- Execute minor repairs and maintenance tasks on farm fences, buildings, and general infrastructure.
- Implement pest control, weed management, and disease prevention strategies in cooperation with the farm team.
- Load and unload agricultural products, feed, and supplies efficiently and safely.
- Strictly adhere to all farm safety protocols, operational guidelines, and relevant agricultural regulations.
- Assist with basic record-keeping related to crop yields, feed consumption, livestock movements, and maintenance logs.
- Maintain overall farm tidiness, organization, and cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding outdoor and manual labor.
