Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory experiments and tests under direct supervision.
- Prepare samples, reagents, and media according to established protocols and precise specifications.
- Operate and maintain a variety of laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, spectrophotometers, pH meters, and incubators.
- Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results in laboratory notebooks and digital systems.
- Assist in basic data analysis and contribute to the preparation of preliminary reports and summaries.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures; maintain a clean, sterile, and organized work environment.
- Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies to ensure smooth operation.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment malfunctions and report complex issues to senior staff for resolution.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of new laboratory procedures and protocols as directed.
