Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate coding and timely payments/collections.
- Prepare and process journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including variance analysis.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support audit preparations by gathering necessary documentation and information.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve financial discrepancies and provide financial insights.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle Financials) and Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
