Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking an inspirational and strategic Director of Learning & Development to lead our talent enhancement initiatives. This pivotal role will be responsible for defining, developing, and implementing a comprehensive L&D strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and fosters a culture of continuous learning and high performance across all levels of the company. As the Director of Learning & Development, you will be instrumental in identifying skill gaps, designing innovative training programs, and evaluating their effectiveness to ensure our employees are equipped with the knowledge and competencies needed to excel in their current roles and prepare for future growth opportunities. You will lead a dedicated team, championing best practices in adult learning and instructional design, and leveraging cutting-edge technologies to deliver engaging and impactful learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a robust Learning & Development strategy that supports Career.zycto’s business objectives and talent management goals.
  • Design, develop, and implement engaging and effective learning programs across various modalities (e.g., e-learning, blended learning, workshops, coaching).
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development priorities across all departments and employee levels.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the L&D team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with senior leadership and HR business partners to ensure L&D initiatives are integrated with broader talent management strategies.
  • Establish metrics and evaluation methodologies to measure the effectiveness and ROI of L&D programs, reporting on progress and making data-driven adjustments.
  • Manage the L&D budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Research and integrate innovative learning technologies and methodologies to enhance the learning experience.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning, growth, and professional development throughout the organization.
  • Oversee vendor relationships for external training programs and learning platforms.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, with at least 3 years in a leadership/director role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful L&D strategies and programs.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and learning technologies.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in budget management and vendor negotiation.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in L&D (e.g., CPTD, APTD from ATD).
  • Experience in a fast-paced or evolving organizational environment.
  • Familiarity with talent management frameworks and succession planning.
