Key Responsibilities
- Act as a visible and vocal guide for forklift operators during loading, unloading, and movement tasks within the warehouse.
- Provide clear and concise hand signals and verbal instructions to operators, ensuring safe navigation in confined spaces.
- Monitor surrounding areas for pedestrian traffic, obstructions, and potential hazards, alerting operators immediately.
- Ensure clear communication between operators and other team members, including two-way radio use when necessary.
- Assist in maintaining organized and safe work areas, promptly reporting any spills, debris, or unsafe conditions.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times.
- Participate actively in safety briefings and training sessions to continuously enhance safety awareness and practices.
- Be proactive in identifying and reporting any equipment malfunctions or operational concerns to supervisors.
- Collaborate effectively with the warehouse team to support overall productivity and achieve safety goals.
