Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., FCA, AML, GDPR) within the financial services and accounting sectors.
  • Develop, implement, and update internal compliance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct compliance reviews and audits, identifying potential risks and recommending corrective actions.
  • Provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on compliance matters and regulatory changes.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports as required.
  • Assist in the investigation and resolution of compliance breaches and incidents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records and documentation.
  • Contribute to the delivery of compliance training and awareness programs for staff.
  • Stay informed about new and emerging regulatory developments and industry best practices.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance-focused role, preferably within financial services or accounting.
  • Strong understanding of UK financial regulations, including FCA rules, AML regulations, and GDPR.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory information.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex information clearly.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
