Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare various food items according to recipes and daily production sheets, including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling dishes.
  • Assist cooks and chefs with meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery of food items for service.
  • Adhere strictly to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and rotation of food products.
  • Operate and clean kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, and ovens safely and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all kitchen areas meet health and safety standards.
  • Receive and store inventory, verifying quantities and quality of deliveries.
  • Monitor food temperatures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen clean-up duties as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and a positive work environment.
