Key Responsibilities
- Sort and categorize donated goods efficiently and accurately according to established guidelines.
- Pack various items (e.g., food, clothing, hygiene products) into boxes or bags, ensuring proper sealing and labeling.
- Verify contents against packing lists to ensure accuracy and completeness of orders.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries and shipments of goods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe packing area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks (training provided if necessary).
- Collaborate effectively with team members and volunteers to meet daily packing targets.
- Report any damaged or missing items to the supervisor promptly.
