Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cashing cheques.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer by adhering to established procedures and policies.
- Identify customer needs and cross-sell appropriate bank products and services.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and courteously.
- Adhere to all bank security procedures and regulatory compliance standards.
- Process loan payments, utility bills, and other financial transactions.
- Assist customers with account inquiries and provide information on bank services.
- Handle and safeguard confidential customer information.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance banking knowledge and skills.
Required Skills
- Previous experience in cash handling or a customer service role (minimum 1 year).
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
