Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily depot operations, including inbound, storage, outbound, and inventory management.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of warehouse operatives, drivers, and administrative staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, security, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Manage depot budgets, resources, and staffing levels to meet operational demands and financial targets.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and implementing corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing lean principles and technological solutions to enhance processes.
- Maintain high standards of inventory accuracy through effective control measures and regular audits.
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., sales, customer service, transport) and external partners to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and operational issues efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and operated safely, coordinating necessary repairs and inspections.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in logistics, warehouse, or depot management (minimum 7 years).

- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant logistics software.
