Key Responsibilities
- Prepare samples, reagents, and media according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various research experiments.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses accurately and efficiently under direct supervision.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting minor issues.
- Collect, record, and organize experimental data clearly and consistently in laboratory notebooks and digital systems.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory safety protocols, quality control standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist senior researchers and scientists with experimental setup, data interpretation, and report generation.
- Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies, reagents, and chemicals, ensuring proper storage and timely reordering.
- Clean and sterilize laboratory glassware, equipment, and workspaces to maintain a sterile and organized environment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding experimental design and results.
- Undertake continuous professional development to stay updated with new techniques and research methodologies.
