Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Coordinator to manage our warehouse operations and optimize delivery processes in Balaclava, St. Elizabeth. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing goods.
- Plan and coordinate all inbound and outbound logistics activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accuracy.
- Develop and optimize delivery routes, schedules, and methods to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing real-time updates and resolving any transit-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and transportation laws.
- Prepare and maintain accurate logistics documentation, reports, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to facilitate seamless operations.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse and delivery processes.
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to deliveries, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
