Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and meticulous inventory control.
- Coordinate and schedule incoming and outgoing deliveries, optimizing routes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely arrival.
- Utilize advanced inventory management systems to accurately track stock levels, process orders, and manage returns.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including invoices, manifests, and customs forms, ensuring compliance.
- Monitor carrier performance and resolve any shipping or delivery discrepancies and issues promptly and professionally.
- Implement and maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and security standards within the warehouse environment.
- Collaborate effectively with sales, procurement, and transportation teams to ensure smooth and synchronized workflow.
- Generate regular, comprehensive reports on logistics performance, inventory accuracy, and key delivery metrics.
- Identify areas for process improvement, propose innovative solutions, and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records to ensure data integrity.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Logistics Coordinator, Warehouse Supervisor, or a similar professional role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Zoho Inventory) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis).
- Strong understanding of warehousing principles, supply chain management, and distribution processes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
