Career.zycto is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Warehouse Dispatcher & Logistics Movement Specialist to join our thriving operations in Zimmerman, Nairobi. In this critical role, you will be the central pivot ensuring the smooth, efficient, and timely flow of goods both into and out of our warehouse facility. You will be instrumental in coordinating daily dispatch activities, managing driver schedules, and optimizing delivery routes to meet stringent deadlines and customer expectations across Nairobi and surrounding regions.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee all daily dispatch activities, including scheduling, routing, and tracking of deliveries and collections.
- Efficiently allocate tasks to drivers and ensure optimal utilization of vehicle fleet and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, including proof of delivery.
- Monitor real-time movement of goods and respond proactively to any delays or issues.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse teams, drivers, and external partners to ensure seamless operations.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, manifests, and customs paperwork (where applicable).
- Assist in managing and optimizing inventory levels and ensuring accurate stock counts.
- Implement and enforce safety regulations and company policies within the dispatch and logistics operations.
- Generate regular reports on dispatch performance, delivery metrics, and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve logistical challenges, such as route changes, vehicle breakdowns, or delivery discrepancies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for logistics processes and cost reduction.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse dispatch, logistics coordination, or a similar role.
- Proven ability to manage and optimize delivery routes effectively.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software, tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel in particular).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with Nairobi's geography and traffic patterns.
