Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, proofread, and finalize various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Manage and organize physical and electronic case files, ensuring all documents are accurately categorized and readily accessible.
  • Prepare legal forms, applications, and reports, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines and procedural requirements.
  • Conduct preliminary legal research and gather relevant information for case preparation.
  • Assist with the e-filing and service of legal documents in accordance with court rules and regulations.
  • Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings, depositions, and court hearings.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel, conveying information clearly and concisely.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information and sensitive case details.
  • Support attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and client meetings, including assembling exhibits and binders.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, photocopying, scanning, and mail handling.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in legal document drafting and proofreading.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications
